In the world we are living today, most often people would just click, or push a button; everything can be done in an instant. Throughout time, it had evolved into something very popular among teens and adults alike who are always away from their homes. More companies had adapted the idea of portable devices as years would go by in which the portable CD player was made later on to replace the portable audio cassette tape players. By the late 1990’s and early 2000, more portable devices are being made, namely a portable dvd player with an LCD, portable cd player, and laptop. This is in turn would give way to other portable devices such as Sony’s PSP and apples iPad and iPhones line up.

The technology we have in today’s time is really getting quite smaller and faster. It won’t be long now till we see portable devices as small as our finger tips in which it would just deliver holographic images of the exact same computer desktops that we use in our homes to browse the web or access our files.

The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Piracy

Piracy, is it bad or just a way for some to find a way to spend less on multimedia devices and software? Back in the days when there was no software protection, people didn’t know about piracy, until the time media companies started to over- charge their software products in which in return would only give an ample of amount of content in their software. There are some advantages and disadvantages when one resort to piracy and here are some of them.

Advantages:

- Sometimes, pirated version of the software, music and videos would get leak ahead of its scheduled
release date;
- A user can have early access to the content of the data being pirated;

Disadvantages:
- Not all the content of the pirated version is complete;
- software copyright protection is always present nowadays to prevent piracy in which a user has to wait
for days for it to get cracked;
-Unable to receive any form of software update from the developers. Security updates are often
integrated from time to time as well as enhancing the software’s performance and address minor bugs
and glitches.

It’s great to have a legit copy of a software, music or a video in which it shows that it is a way to support the developers of their efforts in bringing us the entertainment what we always wanted.
